I really loved the historical background material. I absolutely loved the Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer - probably the best done of this genre. My only issue with the Queen Victoria story was that I thought there were TOO many demons in some places in the story. But then it's fantasy, so who am I to criticize?

We really enjoyed Abe Lincoln killing vampires and Elizabeth Bennet taking out zombies, but you will grow old and bitter waiting for Queen Victoria to get around to hunting any demons. There were some fun parts and the promise of a intriguing story, but too much time devoted to gore and not enough to our young warrior queen. Give this a miss and take Abe Lincoln out for a spin instead. Now that man knows how to hunt!
Great story and homage to Queen Victoria. .I would definitely recommend this books to any one that's into history and horror. .

I was a history minor in college so seeing stuffy old Queen Victoria portrayed as a demon hunter was fantastic. If you're looking for a fast paced book full of demon goodness, this is the one for you.
It's been a very good read.
This book should be made into a movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Crazy as it sounds, I could see a young Queen Victoria running around being a demon Hunter.
